Story
While our dear Kylo isn’t out spreading the reach of the First Order, he has made his way onto the available page. Make no mistake, this is not a Jedi mind trick. Kylo came to FBRN when his previous family didn’t have time to care for him after a new baby. Rather than spend his time in the garage, he’s looking for his new forever home!
Kylo is a busy bee and always wants to be the center of attention. He is always looking to be next to his person and be by their side no matter what. Kylo has made stuffies his enemy and can shred through them faster than a group of the Resistance. If you happen to be practicing your stealth training, you will be hard pressed to get past Kylo. He notices every sound and movement, and you might find yourself surprised when he’s next to you without notice.
This boy gets along well with others, but he can be a bit territorial if one is trying to take his chew toy. Kylo plays very much like a puppy and at times will play bite. He does need some additional training, but he is a quick learner and loves positive reinforcement, known to him as snacks. Kylo’s breathing should be monitored during play to ensure he doesn’t get overheated.
Kylo likes kids and other dogs. Kylo has been around younger children in his past home, however older kids would be suggested while he continues training and working on his puppy mentality and rid those play bites for good! He has a good disposition and learns quickly. Kylo prefers his house buddies to be his size or larger. His recent neuter seems to be helping quite a bit with his rambunctious personality, however he is still an energetic little guy and don’t think you can slack off on those daily walks!
Kylo is looking to thrive with a person or family that works from home. He was left away from his person for too much of his young life already. He would be best suited for a home with a fenced in yard so he can get his energy out. He also tries to practice his escape skills when doors are opened. This is practice for the day he might need to escape from Resistance capture. A calm home with older kids would be best. Remind him to stay before opening a door and he will do his best to impress!
Kylo’s foster mom had this to say about him: “It was love at first sight with Kylo! I really have a special place in my heart for this little guy!
