“Liberty has not had a good start in life. We named her Liberty meaning freedom which she now has! This sweet girl came to me not knowing what grass was let alone how to walk on it. She has grown so much in the months I have been lucky to have her as a foster. She overcame potty training, crate training, and most of all, how much fun it can be to roll in the grass. I am so proud of what this pup has accomplished and the love she has to give. She enjoys belly rubs and chin scratches. Liberty has come a long one so far in her freedom journey but she needs a loving family to teach her the rest of what a dog does. With what her life started like she holds no grudge and she loves her people with everything she knows.”

Story
A happy New Year indeed! Miss Liberty has made her way to the available page and is ready to find her forever family!
Liberty is a very sweet little girl. As a former breeding dog, she arrived in FBRN care without knowing how sweet life can be as a dog. She’s only recently learned about toys and treats and we can’t wait for her to continue blossoming in her forever home.
Her forever family should be prepared to continue her education; however she has already picked up both crate training and potty training. These behaviors will need to be re-enforced as she settles into her forever home and learns a new routines.
Like many Frenchies, Liberty is prone to ear infections and will need to be monitored for any recurrence. Other than that, she is a very healthy, happy, four-year-old girl!
Liberty likes to spend her time exploring! She has not quite figured out the beauty of toys yet, but she loves a good roll in the grass on a sunny day. Liberty lives with two resident Frenchies and gets along with them well. It’s unknown how she’ll react to a cat, so for the safety of our feline friends we must say no to forever homes with cats.
The perfect home for Liberty would be one with patient humans. She would prefer a fenced in yard so she can continue to have leisurely outdoor time, but she would do fine with daily walks instead. With the proper training, we think Liberty would do well in an office environment if you’re one of those folks who are lucky enough to take their dogs to work.
Foster mom has this to say of Liberty, “Liberty has not had a good start in life. We named her Liberty meaning freedom which she now has! If Liberty sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please submit an application and tell us why! She cannot wait to meet her forever family and live a peaceful happy life. FBRN thanks you!
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
