Tis the season to be jolly! Falalalalala! Add some holiday cheer to your family this year as our little snow angel, Mackey, makes her way to the available page! Santa has confirmed that Mackey is on the nice list!

This charming four-year-old gal arrived in foster care after her previous owner realized he could no longer manage her allergies. No worries, FBRN stepped in and Mackey landed with a foster mama who has been working diligently on her skin issues, which as you can see, are already clearing up nicely.

Mackey would thrive in an active home – possibly with another fur baby or two to play with and pester. She is a real “get in your face” kind of gal who will continue to “stir the pot” to get some play action. She loves to play! And she can be a bit of an instigator when it comes to play time with her friends. Mackey has a lot of energy and a fenced yard would be ideal in her forever home. Lots of exercise is needed for this active gal. If possible, Mackey will “pass on the grass” please (pun intended), as those outdoor allergens can really drive her allergies a bit crazy.

Speaking of allergies, Mackey’s foster mom has done an awesome job of getting her inflamed skin and itchies under control. Her forever family must be committed to continued care including allergy medications and a special diet. It would be wonderful if her forever family wanted to continue her obedience training. Plus, training would be a great way to bond with this sweet girl who is quick to learn and eager to please!

Mackey thoroughly loves to be the life of the party, however, she will settle down for some snuggles and kisses when it’s time. Typically, she is quite the action seeker and has been known to re-live her puppy years. Including the occasional chewing on non-dog toys! Thus, Mackey should be contained in a play/exercise pen while her family is out running errands or at work. A stay at home person would be ideal, but Mackey would do okay with a mid-day break if her family works outside the home.

Apartment living could be an option for Mackey as long as her humans are quite active and like to get fresh air and take long walks. A home with a fenced yard and another playful dog would be ideal for her! Mackey is best suited for a home with older children as she loves to play and has an occasional tendency to jump on her playmates. We don’t want Santa switching out her new toys for a lump of coal! While Mackey typically is a very active gal, her future humans could take her to the office as she settles down nicely in her kennel.

Here’s a few words from her loving foster mom, “If you are looking for a housebroken dog that sleeps through the night but has a puppy personality–in every way–then Mackey is the gal for you. She is sweet and playful, curious, and a little mischievous. She can also settle down quietly when required, but is eager to interact and learn. She is the quintessential Frenchie without the diva attitude that just wants a fur-sibling that also wants to play.”
