Madison’s foster mom describes her as a great sidekick who loves being part of a pack. She loves being with other dogs and would thrive in a home with furry siblings. She may bark at a new dog but will settle down once she realizes they aren’t a threat. Madison even enjoys the company of cats! She also loves children, but could knock over a toddler if she gets too excited. This girl just loves being around people and would do well with a first-time Frenchie owner. Due to her scoliosis diagnosis, her future family will need to know what to look for in case any spinal issues pop up.

Story
Madison is splashing her way onto the available page! This 5-month-old cutie was surrendered to FBRN after being diagnosed with scoliosis. Thankfully, Madison is currently asymptomatic and does not have any observable limitations.
Outside of her diagnosis, Madison is a healthy little girl. She has no allergies, but takes supplements to keep her joints and spine healthy. They seem to be working because Madison frequently gets a case of the puppy zoomies! Madison is always up for a game of tug-of-war or running around outside. Madison’s love of indoor and outdoor running doesn’t make her a great candidate to live in an apartment. This cutie’s perfect home will have a fenced-in yard for her to burn off that youthful energy.
When it’s time to relax, Madison will happily oblige and join the family on the couch. She’ll gladly climb into your lap and snuggle up. She is as sweet as they come and never makes a fuss. When it’s time for her paws to be wiped or time for a nail trimming, Madison doesn’t complain. This cutie only objects to being in a crate, but we can understand that! Madison is just a baby, so housebreaking is still a work in progress. She does pretty well when kept to her regular schedule, but you’ll want to be prepared for some indoor accidents as she transitions to a new routine.
Not only is Madison playful, she’s also very helpful around the house! When it’s time for laundry, you can count on Madison to be there for a game of fetch with your wool dryer balls! Madison also likes to follow her foster family throughout the house and be involved in all activities. She’s even willing to pick up a job so she can come to work with you! We’re not sure how much she’ll get done aside from relaxing, playing with her toys and being adorable! If your job decides to “go in a different direction” and not hire Madison, doggie daycare is strongly recommended. Madison has some separation anxiety and hates being crated, so it’s preferred that someone be home all day.

Are you mad about Madison? If so, send over an application for this pretty girl and get ready for a trip to Michigan! Madison is ready to hit the road or take to the open skies to reach her destination — your home! FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations and we do not set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
