“Margo is such a sweet, little beauty. And she just wants the loyalty and devotion that any queen expects. She’s always up for a rowdy romp, but it doesn’t take long for her to burn that energy and quickly turn into a couch potato. Speaking of the couch, that is what she considers her throne. She loves her special couch blanket to curl up on if she doesn’t have a human at the time to snuggle with. She takes great joy at night knowing she gets to be with her people, and not in the crate that she loathes. This girl has a lot of life in her and she is ready for her active forever family to bring her on board for some fun.”

Story
Margo’s favorite things to do are go for walks and play fetch with her soft squeaky toys. She also enjoys chewing on a good bone. When she isn’t playing, she loves to be near her favorite people. Margo is an adaptable girl and when nothing is going on, she is happy to lounge around and nap. She also loves to watch TV with her foster dad at the end of a long day!
Margo likes to chase kitties, so keep an eye on her if she sees one while she is out and about. She is also allergic to them and should not live in a home with cats. Margo wants to be the center of attention and she tends to get jealous around other pets and small children. For this reason, she will do best as the only pet in her forever home. Margo would enjoy living with older, dog savvy children; however, she can get anxious around young children.
Margo is in overall good health. She eats Hill’s Prescription Diet Food Sensitivities z/d and takes some supplements that help keep her allergies at bay. She also gets daily medicated paw wipes to keep those dainty princess paws from getting itchy! Margo had some knee and hip issues in the past, and while there is no impact to her current mobility, her forever family should be aware and keep an eye out for any future issues.
The perfect home for Margo will be one with lots of people around to play with her and shower her with attention. Margo would thrive in just about any type of home or apartment as long as she has lots of opportunities to exercise and has playtime with toys inside. Margo does not like to be alone and the perfect family for her will include someone who is home most of the time. Margo would be a great dog to bring with you to the office! She is calm and would be quiet while her person is working. She’s also a really smart girl who knows “sit,” “stay,” and “come”.
Margo’s foster family has this to share about her, “Margo is such a sweet, little beauty. And she just wants the loyalty and devotion that any queen expects. She’s always up for a rowdy romp, but it doesn’t take long for her to burn that energy and quickly turn into a couch potato. Speaking of the couch, that is what she considers her throne. If you’re smitten with Margo, please complete an application today! Margo does great in the car and loves to travel, but because she can’t stand being crated, she’s not a good candidate for plane flights. So, if you’re selected to be her forever person be prepared for a road trip as this pretty princess is being fostered in Northern Kentucky and will not be shipped.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
