Oscar the grouch??? Definitely not!!! In fact, FBRN’s newest brindle boy is nothing but sweetness and love. Oscar came to FBRN when there was a change in his family’s work schedule, but after acing his time in foster care, he is now ready to grace the available page!

At eight years of age, we are happy to report that this 30-pound cutie is a hunk of burning love! Oscar is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, does not take any medications and is a healthy sweet boy. He is currently on a raw diet of kangaroo, but his foster mom reports that this is not a necessary diet requirement.

Oscar’s foster mom describes him as a “happy, go-lucky, up-for-anything angel.” His hobbies currently include snoozing on the couch, spending time with his humans and playing with his foster brothers. He loves to be surrounded by his pack – both human and canine. He’s not a big fan of toys, but does enjoy a good romp around the backyard in nice weather. He has been around cats and has shown no issues with them.

Oscar may be a gentleman, but he also does best in an environment where he has a routine. While he is house trained, straying from a potty schedule will result in accidents. Oscar would be a great companion to take to work, but he would also be content to stay home as long as he gets a mid-day potty break.

Oscar is a curious not so little guy, and wants to know what his humans are doing at all times. He will sometimes roam the halls alone, making sure the coast is clear. An interesting little quirk, but he is pawsitively perfect!

His foster mom reports, “Oscar has been the PERFECT gentleman and houseguest. He is quiet, sweet, and simply wants to be with you. If you could describe the perfect dog, it is Oscar. He is gentle, patient, and unlike most Frenchies. If his face does not win you over, his personality will. This angel was undoubtedly sent here to bring love and happiness to his forever family – because that’s all he knows how to do: love and be happy.”

FBRN does not ship dogs so his new family must be willing to take a road trip to Nashville to pick Oscar up. The good news is Oscar loves car rides.
