“Saint is so sweet and loving. He is happy just to be safe and cared for. We have seen his personality more and more as he feels more safe and part of our ‘pack’. He jumps in bed with my 7 year old every morning to wake her up for school and it is the best start to our day. Saint is very expressive. He will ‘talk’ to us when he wants food or attention by grumbling. Saint has had too many homes in his short 3 years and we hope for him to be able to settle down in a forever home soon. “

Story
Saint is available and ready to find his forever family! This handsome four-year-old boy was surrendered when his previous owners realized they were unable to manage his health issues. FBRN and Saint’s caring foster network got him the medical care that he needed, and now he’s healthy and back to being a snuggly, love-bug Frenchie.
Saint had several successful surgeries while in foster care, and these procedures have helped him to breathe, and eat normally, without regurgitation. Health-wise, Saint has never felt better! Personality-wise, Saint is a real lovebug who lives to be close to his people. He’s also totally okay when left alone; Saint doesn’t have any separation anxiety! He loves squeaky rubber toys and rope chew toys. He also loves stuffy toys, but his favorite activity is sitting next to foster mom and cuddling! Saint is very expressive and “talks” to his foster family when he wants food or attention.
Saint is housebroken, reportedly crate trained, gets along with kids and other dogs, and he has some obedience training! He has a tendency to guard his food and must be monitored when food is present, and he should never be around young children unattended. While in foster care, Saint has shown so much improvement! He’s been working on sit, stay, and leash walking; although he still pulls pretty hard on the leash sometimes. Luckily, Saint doesn’t need a lot of exercise and would do well with a few short walks around the block.
Because of his health issues, Saint’s ideal home is with people who have Frenchie experience. We think he would be happy with another calm dog and perhaps older, dog savvy children. He’d do well in a single-family home, apartment, or town home, ideally with a fenced area to go potty! Saint would also be a great candidate for an office setting since he loves people and can quietly entertain himself.
Here’s what Saint’s foster family had to say, “Saint is so sweet and loving. “
If you think your home is a great fit for Saint, please apply today and tell us why! Then get ready for a trip to Washington! FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations and we do not set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
