“Tuppy is a loving little girl. She is silly, doesn’t recognize personal space, and everything is hers. She is very shy, loves feet, stealing socks, small blankets. Her favorite treat baby carrots (they are a must she will sit by the fridge till you give her one). Lately watching TV has caught her eye and she loves to give kisses. I think she would be good with anyone but someone older, retired would make her happiest. New experiences scare her so have to go slowly.”

Story
Look who arrived in record time to the available page?? Yep, it’s Miss Tuppy! She’s ready to bounce into her forever home just in time for the Holidays! Sweet Tuppy arrived in FBRN care a short time ago, and after a little trip to the vet, she is ready to warm your heart this winter.
Tuppy is sweet, three-year-old girl whose previous life was at a commercial breeding facility. She experienced frost bite on her ears when she was born outside during a Pennsylvania winter and thus, she has lost tissue on both ears. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to bother her one bit, just gives her a little character! And her hearing is just fine, thank-you-very-much! So, let’s find a warm cozy home for Tuppy where she can rest her paws and snuggle up for some serious cuddles.
Tuppy would thrive in almost any home. She is a bit timid and shy until she warms up to new humans and new environments, so she will need understanding and patient forever people. She’s ever so curious about all the new toys and blankets to play with! Tuppy seems to get along with everyone she has met so far; dogs, cats, big humans and little humans. A home that is a little slower paced would probably be best for Tuppy, and hopefully someone who is around a lot throughout the day because this little cutie doesn’t like to be alone! Tuppy has been the best girl at potty training and has only had one accident while in foster care. She is crate trained and can be a bit noisy in her kennel at night, but she settles down after a few minutes.
Ideally, a fenced yard would be Tuppy’s preference so she can relax and run zoomies in her own backyard. However, if her new family is able to give her daily walks and exercise, she could adapt to apartment or condo life just fine. As long as her people are close by! Tuppy really enjoys watching TV, and just in time for some great Hallmark Christmas movie marathons!
Here are a few things that Tuppy’s foster family wants you to know, “Tuppy is a loving little girl. She is silly, doesn’t recognize personal space, and everything is hers. She is very shy, loves feet, stealing socks, small blankets. Her favorite treat baby carrots (they are a must she will sit by the fridge till you give her one). So, if Tuppy sounds like the gal you have been searching for, head on over to our adoption page and apply today! Don’t forget to stock up on carrots if you’re the lucky forever family because just like Santa’s reindeer, these are Tuppy’s favorite snack!
Tuppy is being fostered in upstate New York and would not do well flying as she is very timid at first and this could be too overwhelming for her. FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
