“Ursula is the cutest little thing and someone will be lucky to get her, she will be that friend who’s just easy to be with and happy to be hanging out with you. She is a cuddly Frenchie and loves nothing more at the end of the day than an invitation to take a nap on the couch with her human. She has her silly moments with bursts of energy like most young dogs and she’s fast! She’s a good girl and was by far my easiest foster, she just needs the right person who understands she wants to be the only dog.”

Story
Without fins or a fishy tail, Ursula is swimming her way to the available page! She was surrendered to FBRN when her previous owner realized she wasn’t getting along with the other fur-kids in the home. This beautiful girl is ready to find her happily ever after family, and she’s looking to be the only queen in the castle!
Ursula loves her people and does well with children. She can be a bit suspicious of people at first, but if new people sit and talk to her quietly, she warms right up to them! When it comes to cats, Ursula is curious but shows no signs of wanting to chase or harm them, so dog savvy cats should be a-okay in her forever home. Ursula should, however, be the only dog in her forever home. This is due to her resource guarding behaviors with food, toys, and people. This little lady just loves what she thinks is hers and doesn’t want to share!
One might be curious what Ursula likes. Well, she loves her morning walks! The rest of the day she’s pretty chill and likes to laze around with her chew toys. She really loves attention and she is quick to learn new commands if treats are involved. Ursula loves to please her people and the treats are just an added bonus. She also loves to enjoy the scenery on a car ride, and will sit quietly until you reach your destination. She is happy to be your shadow wherever you go!
This gorgeous girl is housebroken, crate trained, and she knows some basic commands. She doesn’t signal when she needs to go out, but she’s such a smart girl, it’s likely she could be taught to ring a bell as a signal. In the meantime, Ursula should be taken out regularly to avoid any indoor accidents.
Ursula is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. If you have a dog savvy cat and kids, that’s okay. She would love the attention of the kiddos! Ursula would make a fine dog for a first time Frenchie owner. She would be a great companion for someone who works from home or perhaps a retired couple. A family who works outside the home could also be okay, provided Ursula gets a mid-day break and is not crated for more than a few hours at a time. Ursula could accompany you to work and would make a fabulous co-worker, provided there were no other dogs at the office.
Ursula’s foster mom has this to say about her, “Ursula is the cutest little thing and someone will be lucky to get her, she will be that friend who’s just easy to be with and happy to be hanging out with you.
If you think you can give Ursula the perfect home, then all you need to do is click on the link and apply to adopt her. Then get ready for a road trip to Nevada if you are selected as her happily ever after! FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
About Ursula
- Ursula has allergy symptoms that are currently managed with daily Benadryl. It is possible she will need either daily Apoquel or monthly Cytopoint injections in the future.
- Ursula has an epulis (benign mass) over her right upper large molar. It should be removed during her next dental procedure (or other procedure requiring anesthesia).
- Ursula is a resource guarder so must never be around small children and should remain an only dog.
