Life is definitely strange! Six-month-old Vecna has leapt onto the available page. However, you won’t find Vecna portraying a villain, unless you count stealing your heart. Vecna is one of the Stranger Things Hawkins 6 pack. He and his five litter mates were surrendered to FBRN after an accidental breeding.

Vecna is an energetic puppy that loves to run, play, and be rambunctious. He is a play hard, nap hard type of pup and when he’s done zooming around, he will snuggle up with his humans and furry siblings. Vecna will need time daily to be able to get all of that energy out. A fenced in yard to zoom around in is high on his wishlist, as are a furry sibling or two.

Vecna is mostly potty trained, but he is a young puppy and his adoptive family will need to work with him to perfect his potty manners. He is still working on letting his people know he needs to go out. Vecna is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He is a big chewer so does best with strong rubber toys. He is quite resourceful and if a toy is not available, he will resort to nature for chew toys (pine cones, sticks, leaves and acorns).

Vecna is very social and is looking for a home that will let him be in the middle of everything. He gets along with the children and he would make a great family dog. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention and one that’s busy! First time Frenchie owners are welcome for Vecna and he could also adapt to going into the office. Vecna loves attention, but he does not need someone that is home all day.

Vecna’s foster mom had this to say about him, “he is very much a lover and just thoroughly enjoys being surrounded by other people and animals. He has a hilarious habit of literally sitting ON TOP OF our other pups’ paws or heads and our feet/arms. We can be standing in place and he will plop down over our toes; same with our animals, they can be sleeping and he will come lay on top of their paws or sit on top of their head. He is the epitome of extroverted!”

If you have puppy fever, then the only cure is then all you need to do is apply for Vecna and be ready to swoop him up should they be selected as his forever home. Get your app in quickly if Vecna seems like he would be a good fit for your family. Vecna will remain available for a minimum of 24 hours even if that means over 20 applications are taken. We think he might popular, but be prepared to travel to Alabama because he will not be shipped.

FYI our policy is – once we receive 20 applications for a Frenchie, we stop collecting applications for that dog, so if you see a great fit for your family in the week’s “Sneak Peek” list, please watch for the next weekly update for her available picture so you don’t miss out! Now, as you can imagine, we get 20 applications for healthy young dogs quite quickly, and that is why, in the interests of fairness to people who work or otherwise can’t submit an application as soon as the available page is visible, every dog stays up a minimum of 24 hours, even if that means taking more than 20 applications for the dog.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
