“Victoria loves fruits, her favorites are raspberries and blueberries. She also loves apples and carrots. She hates getting her nails trimmed and baths, but she’ll tolerate the bath. Just be prepared for lots of stink eye and personality when she’s in the bath. She is still a puppy at heart so shouldn’t be trusted quite yet to be left out alone when her humans are out of the house. She tends to get into mischief! Victoria is not a big fan of being held, and she’ll let you know (by scratching at your legs) when she wants a quick hug or kiss. Our family loves Victoria, she is so loveable and cute! She is quite the princess and likes everything on her terms. For the most part she loves exploring the back yard, playing fetch and watching the backyard from her perch on the back of the sofa. She is always happy and loves attention.”

Story
Victoria may be tiny, but don’t let that fool you. This pint sized princess is full of energy and then some. A perfect day for this girl includes lots of playing fetch with her little squeaky toys, exploring the back yard, working on her obedience training, and then curling up in bed with her favorite human at night. Victoria loves to play all day and will let her human know when she wants to snuggle by tapping on their leg. In general, playing (and getting her zoomies on) is her priority in life.
Victoria is extremely smart and responds well to training. She knows basic commands such as “sit” and she takes treats very gently. She will need to continue her training in her forever home. Victoria is working on not being so mouthy when she plays with humans. She, like many Frenchies, tends to nibble on fingers and hands when playing. Victoria has never drawn blood, it’s all in play, but her forever family will need to continue working with her on this behavior and she should not be placed in a home with children under the age of ten. Victoria is crate trained but prefers to snuggle in bed with her favorite person during the night. She is also house trained and sleeps through the night without accidents.
Victoria gets along well with the dogs in her foster home and we think she would enjoy having a canine sibling in her forever home. She’s a bit of a pig and tries to eat her foster fur-sibling’s food during meal time! In her forever home, she will need to be feed separately from the other dogs so that everyone gets their fair share.
The perfect home for Victoria is one where she is not left alone for long. She’s an active little girl with a lot of puppy energy. She will thrive with a family who has someone that can mostly be at home, or with someone who can bring her to work with them. Victoria can live in any type of home as long as there is a securely fenced yard for her to run around in. She does well on leash walks but prefers to do her business in her own yard. First time Frenchie owners are fine, but Victoria’s new family should not have any children under the age of ten and should be ready to continue her training around her play biting and nippiness. Victoria would thrive with a family that has another non-dominant dog for her to play with.

If you would like to adopt this sweetie pie, please send in your application today. Then be prepared for a short road trip. Victoria is being fostered in Central Iowa and will not be shipped; she also tends to get a bit anxious and sick to her stomach on long road trips.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations and we do not set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
