“She adjusted so well to our 3 dogs and schedule. Vindaloo absolutely loves being part of the family. She really just wants to be with her humans. She has been so easy to care for in spite of her allergies. Vindaloo takes her pills like a pro and enjoys her one time per week medicated bath. She knows “sit” and we were working on improving her leash walking. She would love a sweater if her forever home is in a cold climate!! We love her dearly and we know she’s going to make a great addition to a family or a companion for a sing person!”

Story
Meet Vindaloo! This spicy little meatball is ready to find her forever home! At seven years old, Vindaloo has left her past behind and is embracing the good life in her foster home, where she’s proving to be an affectionate, laid-back companion with a love for snuggles.
Vindaloo came to FBRN after a change in circumstances left her needing more care than her previous family could provide. She has several allergies, which require ongoing management, including regular Cytopoint injections and medicated baths. But don’t let that scare you—she takes her treatments like a champ and is otherwise a healthy, happy girl!
While Vindaloo is independent, she adores being with her people and has settled beautifully into home life. She enjoys short walks, snoozing the day away, and chewing on her beloved Nylabones. She’s crate-trained and is mostly house trained as long as she’s kept on a regular schedule.
Vindaloo does well with other dogs, but can be a resource guarder, so she must be fed separately and monitored around toys. She’s not suited for a home with small children but would thrive with an experienced owner who understands Frenchies and allergies. A home with a fenced yard is preferred, but an apartment would work as long as she gets regular walks. She’s even office-friendly if her future adopter wants a cute, wrinkly coworker!
This is what Vindaloo’s foster mom has to say about her, “She adjusted so well to our 3 dogs and schedule.
Vindaloo has adjusted beautifully to her foster home and is ready to bring her snuggly, sweet personality to her forever family. If you think Vindaloo sounds like your new best friend, do not hesitate, scroll to the bottom of the page and apply to adopt her.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications.
FBRN does not ship dogs so please plan to pick her up in person. She is a bit too large to fly, but does very well in the car.
