Watts would do great in just about any type of home! Ideally, he will have another dog to pal around with and a forever person who wants to continue his training. Watts doesn’t mind being in his crate to relax, but if his people must be away for more than 4-5 hours at a time, a dog walker would be needed. While he has no experience in the workforce, we think Watts would adjust well to accompanying his person to the office.

Story
Watts arrived in FBRN care when his previous owners realized they could no longer provide the time and attention that he deserves. If you see yourself taking lots of walks and playing endless hours of fetch with your new best friend, then read on. Watts wins over every person he meets and might be the perfect boy for your active family!
Watts is full of energy and loves to be outside taking walks and exploring. He can easily get into mischief so his forever home should be prepared to keep him busy so that he doesn’t get into trouble. When bored, Watts will find something to occupy himself, such as toys, remotes, chargers, mulch, dirt, wood, the list goes on and on!
Watts would benefit from a very active home as well as continued training. He’s a good boy who sleeps in his crate when necessary. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic obedience. Although, in typical Frenchie fashion, he is stubborn and has selective hearing!
Because Watts is a bigger boy at 32 pounds, he can be a bit much when he wants attention and snuggles. He has no understanding of personal space! He may also become a bit of a bowling ball when playing and younger children could easily be knocked over.

If Watts sounds like a great fit for your family, please head on over to the application page and get busy! Watts is being fostered in the state of Pennsylvania and is too big to fly, but he sure likes a good car ride!
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
About Watts
Watts has a history of ear infections that must be monitored for recurrence, and he requires regular ear cleaning twice a week.
