“Willow is a fun girl to have. She loves life and is a happy, happy girl. She does have a sense of humor and at times will surprise you with it. The most important thing about Willow is that she is a busy fun loving puppy. She wants to play, love and cuddle with her people. She needs consistent rules and patience by the people who have her. Willow does need your encouragement and reassurance at times, she is a puppy who needs to learn about the world and she will play with and love you forever!”
Will had a colpopexy procedure and spay on 04.29.2021 to address a history of rectal prolapse. She must be monitored and remain on current diet and supplements to prevent recurrence.
When you hear the word Willow, you might conjure up ideas of a wispy Willow tree swaying gently in the wind. That’s far from the case with this Willow. She’s a puppy with lots of energy. Willow was surrendered to FBRN when she had a prolapsed rectum. After that was corrected, it happened several more times. When she went in for her spay, a colpopexy procedure was completed.
Now that this girl is all recovered, it’s on to finding her forever home! Willow currently lives with dogs and loves them. They are all sizes in her foster home, and she plays with everyone. Willow also loves everyone she meets, young or old. She doesn’t have much experience with smaller children, so dog savvy children would be best. A fenced yard will be required for this girl and her high energy. Nothing slows Willow down, except perhaps a fenced in yard! Willow is housebroken and crate trained, but she must remain on a consistent schedule to go out and do her business. If she doesn’t have the opportunity to go out, there will be accidents! Willow sleeps in her crate at night, and foster mom has taught her that when she is told “Time for bed, good night” she settles right down and goes to dreamland.
Willow is a puppy who fears nothing and believes everything she finds is a friend and playmate! She is a very happy puppy who keeps herself busy. When she is done playing she likes to come to her people for a nice cuddle session. She will curl up on your lap and sleep. There are three things Willow loves most, to play, to eat, and to give kisses and cuddle with her people! There are many other things that she likes to do but she has her top three favorites! Willow thinks she is a Greyhound. She loves to run! She will do her “zoomies” around the yard at least once a day! Willow likes to take a toy, usually a Nylabone, and stick it into her foster brothers face. She continues to do this until her brother tries to take it and then the chase is on! When Willow gets a moment of calm, she loves to sit on the back of the couch and watch the world go by.
Willow would be happy in just about any type of home. She needs a person who can devote time to her and she would definitely enjoy another dog in the home. Someone with Frenchie experience who understands the “stubborn” part of this breed would be best for Willow. She is definitely not a city girl. She loves to run, play, and would probably climb trees if she could! If her forever family works, that would be just fine, as long as Willow has someone to let her out for a run in the yard and do her business during the day. Looking for a new greeter at your office? Willow would love to fill that role! She would put on her best manners and follow any office rules necessary.
Willow’s foster mom has this to say about her, “Willow is a fun girl to have.
If you’re ready to add puppy energy to your home, look no further than Willow. Follow the link to fill out her application and then sit back and wait to be selected as her forever home!
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
