“Zadie has turned into a fun, affectionate, and happy pup. She loves her puppy foster siblings and I can’t imagine her without a dog buddy to play with and to give her confidence. She runs fasts and loves hard. She has a delightfully quirky personality, and never fails to bring a smile to my face with her playful antics and unique little self. Her family will never be bored with this little girl around.”

Story
Zadie, C D E F G…Won’t you go back to school with me?
Do you have your school supplies yet? Well, you can’t go back to school without the essentials – books, pencils, erasers and Zadie!
Zadie already knows her ABCs and has been a star student at Foster school! She loves other kids, plays well at recess and takes naps like a champ. Her favorite class is PE! Zadie gets an A+ for her super-fast zoomies.
She is still learning the ropes when it comes to bathroom breaks, though. You see, Zadie came to FBRN with ectopic ureters, which needed surgery to correct. Basically, she leaked urine because her ureters bypassed her bladder. So, she is getting the hang of how a full bladder feels and when to empty it properly. She’ll need a teacher who understands the importance of frequent potty breaks and can recognize when Zadie needs relief. She promises to study hard, though, and is sure she will be at the top of her class in no time.
Zadie wouldn’t mind being home-schooled, especially if her parent was there to study with her all day. But she would also be ok with a take-your-dog to work program. As long as she gets frequent recess!
Here’s what Zadie’s substitute teacher (foster mom) has to say about her: “Zadie has turned into a fun, affectionate, and happy pup.
Does Zadie sound like your next valedictorian? Is she the one item on your back-to-school list you can’t live without? Well, fill out your application and submit your best short essay as to why Zadie is top of your class! Then, make the wheels on the bus go round and round, because Zadie can’t travel alone and must be picked up in Delaware.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
