Meet Archer! This five-year-old Frenchie is as feisty as he is adorable! Archer found his way to FBRN after his previous family, having already been through one disc injury, made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him when another occurred.

Upon arrival, Archer was whisked away to a specialty vet, where it was determined that surgery was the best course of action. He came through like a champ and is now on the mend! Though crate rest isn’t his idea of a good time (he insists it’s a prison sentence), he’s keeping himself entertained by gnawing on bones and performing “squeak-ectomies” on his favorite plushies. Archer has been getting breaks for snuggles and short walks, but Archer has gotten quite used to being carried around like royalty!

This little guy adores his foster parents and is especially fond of his human siblings. He truly loves everyone he meets! With just a few more weeks of crate rest to go, Archer will soon begin the slow road to recovery.
