Sweet as honey, say hi to Bear, an approximately five-year-old, blue and tan Frenchie! He was found as a stray on the side of the highway and brought to a local animal shelter before finding his way to FBRN.

Thankfully, the shelter got Bear up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutering. They also assessed some hind leg weakness and an elongated soft palate. However, Bear is doing well and is excited to be with his foster family for the care and attention he deserves!

Bear LOVES people and although he has not been introduced to the household Frenchies yet, his temporary foster said that he gets along well with other dogs. Bear must have been a prince in another life because he likes to be the center of attention, getting nervous when his foster mom goes out of sight. However, once he knows they’re not going anywhere, he will fall asleep with a hefty snore.
