They say every rose has its thorn, but that just means they haven’t met FBRN’s newest foster Frenchie, Briar! This precious pup was surrendered so he could have emergency lifesaving surgery for a bowel obstruction (plus a bonus neuter). Now he’s healing in a loving foster home.

It’s a little too early for four-year-old Briar to have revealed his full personality, but his foster family reports he’s as sweet as sugar – 34 pounds of pure Frenchie sugar at that! And oh so handsome, of course. Emergency surgery is not cheap and Briar is hoping for some donations because he doesn’t have health insurance (or a wallet).
