Let’s give a warm welcome to FBRN’s newest intake, BumbleB! No, not part of the transformers, just a cute, 5-year-old, pied Frenchie who is on the lookout for his forever home. BumbleB was sadly surrendered when his previous owner realized that she could no longer give him the time and attention he deserves.

BumbleB has adjusted well in his foster home! His foster family reports that his outdoorsy lifestyle and frisky personality has resulted in the nickname, ‘Rumbly Bumbly’, as he’s a playful, rough-and-tumble kind of guy. In typical Frenchie style, he has no problem stealing the show! BumbleB loves to play outside – maybe catch a few sunny rays, then cool off with the hose – and explore while out on walks.

While BumbleB is very outgoing, he could use a little more training and perhaps a few reminders of his basic manners. His very dominant personality could make resident pups feel a bit neglected as he tries to steal all the loves and scratchies! With some guidance from foster mom and a trainer, BumbleB is quickly taking cues on his manners. He tends to exhibit resource guarding around food and toys, but has been doing great when eating in his crate.

Bumble is currently being treated for his yeasty ears and working on his new vegan diet as he has gastrointestinal issues if he ingests any animal by-products. Good thing he loves dog-friendly fruits and vegetables!
