Welcome beautiful 2.5-year-old brindle, Catrina to the FBRN family! She was lovingly surrendered to FBRN when her family realized they could not dedicate the time necessary for her care.

In July, she sustained a back injury that led to her being temporarily paralyzed. Thankfully with rest and a course of cold laser treatments, she regained mobility, but she remains incontinent. She is a stylish gal and rocks her diapers with confidence.

While Catrina gets around well, her gait is still a bit “wonky” in the rear. She has her first vet visit coming up and we will learn a bit more about her medical status. She has two mysterious bumps that need to be looked at, but we are hopeful they are innocent.

Catrina loves the outdoors, and the Missouri weather has cooperated so she has been able to get a lot of outdoor romping time in. She LOVES to snuggle with her family and does well in her crate. She has been sleeping all night! And like many Frenchies, she is a big fan of food and has a very healthy appetite.

Catrina’s foster mom reports she has had a smooth transition into her foster home. She quickly picked up on routines and is starting to bond with her canine foster sibling. She is excited to see Catrina’s personality blossom as she gets more settled.
