True to his name, handsome Dandy is FBRN’s newest foster. Though he is on the brink of his 10th birthday, Dandy is young at heart and appears to be in good health.

Dandy was surrendered to FBRN when his owner passed away. He is understandably confused by his current situation, and has expressed a little anxiety by the changing circumstances. As he warms up to his foster family, his personality is starting to shine through. Dandy loves getting pets and belly rubs and will do an adorable paw raise/roll to expose his belly! Dandy also gives a quiet bark to kindly remind you if your hand is idle and needs to get back to said belly rubs.

So far, Dandy has not shown any interest in toys or chews. He is dog friendly but hasn’t yet shown any interest in other dogs on the street or the resident dog in his foster home. As he continues to get comfortable in his foster home, we will have more to report.

Dandy is due for a vet checkup and a nail trim. Once he’s confirmed a clean bill of health, there is no doubt he’ll move quickly onto the available page.
