Danvers is a lovable Frenchie with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggles! Danvers thrives in a home where she can be the center of attention and form a close bond with her humans. She’s best suited as an only dog due to food and toy-guarding behaviors, and she’ll benefit from continued training to help her grow into her best self. If you’re ready to invest a little time and love into a sweet and snuggly pup who will reward you with endless affection, Danvers could be your perfect match. She’s full of love and potential—just waiting for the right person to help her shine.

Story
This notable and powerful superhero, we mean fawn Frenchie, Danvers, has made her way to the Available page! Danvers (formerly Female Dog A554136) was found on the streets by a kind person who brought her to the local animal shelter. The shelter reached out to FBRN, and we were all too happy to snag her up!
While she still has her puppy energy, she also loves to relax and snuggle. Some of her hobbies also include, going on walks, playing in the yard, laying in the sunshine, searching for sticks, and chewing on bones. Her foster family has seen great improvement in her house and crate training. While still not a professional, she has come a long way in a short amount of time! According to Danver’s foster mom, she “would do well in any home environment if her owner is active and can take her for walks and play with her. She’s not a wanderer, but a fenced yard is preferred.” Danvers will be your shadow and follow you from room to room. She also loves car rides and is ready to accompany her forever family on new adventures.
Would Danvers love someone who worked from home or was home all day? Yes! Her foster mom says, “she is a velcro Frenchie and loves to be around me, so someone working from home would be ideal.” Getting loved on makes Danvers very happy. Just like every little diva that loves attention, Danvers can be territorial around her people, food, and toys. Due to her puppy nature and dominant personality, Danvers must go to a home where she is the only pet. Caution must be exercised if she is around other dogs or animals. As such, dog parks and similar social setting are a no go for this little gal.
People are a different story, and Danvers has never met a stranger and loves being the center of attention. She would be a great addition to a family with no other pets and that has the patience to train her properly. If you think she is a good fit, Danvers would love to show you her superpowers, so please apply! She will have you wrapped around her paw with her snuggly energy and zest for life.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
About Danvers
She is a resource guarder who requires a firm pack leader and should be closely monitored around small children and animals when toys or food are present.
Potty training is still a work in progress, but with consistency and guidance, Danvers is eager to learn.
Danvers had spay surgery on 10.29.2024.
