Who’s name rhymes with melody and makes your heart skip a beat? Well, it’s FBRN’s newest and cutest little lady, Elodie of course!

This 3-month-old cutie was surrendered by a breeder and is currently thriving in her foster home. Elodie came into FBRN’s care with a diagnosis of spina bifida…but don’t cry her a river, because it hasn’t slowed her down one bit! In fact, Miss Elodie doesn’t even realize she’s different from other pups and she is known to happily drag around toys that are bigger than she is. Her back legs may have no feeling or intentional movement, but she hops along just fine to explore her new surroundings. Her foster mom is also happy to report that this cuddly girl has absolutely nothing wrong with her vocal cords, and she will gladly sing you a tune to let you know she disapproves of something.
