Sporting four tiny blue suede shoes, FBRN’s newest foster, Elvis, is making his way onto the foster page! He may not be the King of Rock but he is sure to steal many hearts. At seven years old, this sweet little nugget was surrendered when his former family knew he needed more medical care than they could financially provide. For the past couple years, Elvis has been losing his famous swagger and previous vet care has not solved the problem. He presented with some neck and back pain causing front-leg lameness and he’s in the best hands now.

Elvis has already had surgery since arriving in FBRN care, and he’s now recuperating with his foster family. They describe him as such a trooper and a total love bug. Perhaps his life motto is “when things go wrong, don’t go with them.” We are really hoping he will make a great recovery and be able to show off some famous hip gyrations soon. Please send some healing thoughts his way!

Unfortunately, Frenchie Elvis does not share the same financial fortune as his namesake but we’re sure he will soon gain some adoring fans. You can’t help falling in love.
