Please give a warm FBRN welcome to Emily! Cute as a button and sweeter than a chocolate bunny, this little bluebell is full of snuggles, snorts, and sweet Frenchie kisses. Emily arrived in FBRN care when her original owner was unable to manage Emily’s severe allergies.
Emily was understandably a bit shy when she first arrived in her foster home, but has quickly acclimated and revealed herself to be a cuddle-bug of the highest degree. She’s always up for snuggles, and more recently has been ambushing her foster mom with sneak kiss attacks. It’s taken her a bit longer to warm up to her canine foster siblings, but she’s starting to come around to playtime and zoomies – much to the other dogs’ delight!
Emily is an absolute lady on leash and loves going on walks. Her housebreaking is still a work in progress, but she’s improving every day. An allergy test revealed that Emily is primarily allergic to storage mites, but she has food and environmental allergies to boot. Poor girl, no wonder she’s so itchy! Regular allergy shots, regular medicated baths, and a fresh-food diet have helped Emily immensely, and we’re optimistic that this regimen will help her say goodbye to those dreadful itchies once and for all.
Emily will need a bit more healing time before she’s ready for her forever home. It’s also possible that the polyps in her ears will need to be surgically removed in order to prevent further infections. If you’d like to help Emily along on her journey, please consider becoming her sponsor! No matter how big or small the donation, everything helps, and Emily will be sure to send her gratitude with sweet kisses of thanks!
