Please welcome our newest 10-month-old handsome guy, Gibbon! This brindle hunk arrived in FBRN care when his previous owner’s realized they wouldn’t be able to manage his gastrointestinal issues. After a bout of excessive vomiting and then an emergency exploratory surgery for a suspected ileus, they sadly surrendered Gibbon to their vet who reached out to FBRN.
Health wise, Gibbon’s vomiting seems to have resolved after some food experimentation. Time will tell. He’s rather thin and foster mom is giving him plenty of snacks to help him get to an ideal weight. We’ll have more information on this sweet boy’s health after he’s settled in and had another evaluation from the vet.
Personality wise, Gibbon is a very loving little man. He has done well on walks, despite being completely new to the concept! Gibbon has also done well with passing dogs and loves every person he’s met while on his walks. He seems to be settling into the new routine quite well. We’re told that he enjoys doing zoomies in the back yard before the heat of day sets in, followed by a long nap. Of course, he’s full of puppy energy so foster mom also has plenty of toys to keep him busy!
We all want to see this busy puppy find the loving forever home he deserves and we couldn’t do it without the support of wonderful folks like you. So if you’d like to sponsor this handsome brindle hunk, please click on the link and let us know it’s for Gibbon. We’re sure he’d love to send you a few Frenchie kisses to say thanks!
