Let’s welcome this sweet, almost 4-year-old, brindle hunk to FBRN. Gourdie has left the commercial breeding life and hasn’t looked back! When he first arrived in foster care, Gourdie didn’t know what grass was, what bowls were used for and didn’t understand beds and blankets – but he is quickly learning! Gourdie’s foster family has not witnessed one ounce of aggression or shyness. Gourdie will stay in your lap for pets all day if you let him. And if you think you’re done petting, he will kindly let you know what’s up. Gourdie’s foster family tells us that he is just like a puppy who has had no training, but he’s such a champ and learning new things every day!
Gourdie has been to the vet to get his ears and eyes looked at – he will also have a neuter surgery in the near future. If you have some spare change, please consider donating to the cost of Gourdie’s care. And please send all the best love and thoughts to Gourdie as he navigates the good life and learns to be the best companion!
