Our newest pied sweetie, Hattie, has joined the FBRN fold. She arrived in FBRN care from a commercial breeding facility. Hattie is 4 years old, has beautiful coloring, a super soft coat, and the cutest little nubbin of a tail that we’ve ever seen!

During her first weeks in foster care, Hattie has been patiently learning the ropes. That has mostly consisted of making a spot behind the recliner her safe space, and slowly coming out of her shell, but that is progress! She has done well with slow introductions to the resident dogs in her foster home, and she seems to be picking up on this whole potty-training thing quickly.

Hattie, like anyone, has her quirks. If you’re super excited to see her in the morning and just can’t wait until she runs into your arms from her crate…well, you might be waiting a bit. Miss Hattie kindly request you turn your back so she can make her way out of her crate without an audience. Once she’s out, she runs to the door and is ready to step into her harness for outdoor time. When she’s back inside, Hattie has a little dance party and wags her adorable tail nub!
