About Midge
There’s a new brindle girl in town who’s stealing hearts (and her foster sibling’s toys) in the great state of Texas. Meet Midge!
Two-year-old Midge was surrendered because her former family could not get her skin allergies under control. Indeed, Midge is a stinky, yeasty little thing, with infections in her folds and some terribly itchy feet. Fortunately, we here at FBRN know a thing or 20 about those dreaded Frenchie itchies, so we’re confident that we can get Midge feeling comfortable in her skin. A medicated bath already has her feeling a bit better, and she’ll be undergoing a full battery of allergy tests over the weeks to come. Once we’ve pinpointed the source of her itchies, we can get to work keeping them at bay, whether that be through a diet change, medications, paw soaks, or all of the above!
Foster mom describes Midge’s personality as “true Frenchie” – equal parts sweet and sassy, affectionate and stubborn. She’s already made herself right at home, and is particularly fond of making Frenchie-sized tunnels through the decorative pillows and blankets on foster mom’s couch.
Allergy dogs can really rack up the veterinary bills, so if you’d like to help contribute to the cost of Midge’s care, we sure would appreciate it! Just click on the “donate” link and tell us it’s for our brindle darling Midge. She will be sure to thank you with a bark and a wiggle of gratitude!
