Water lilies are lovely and sunrises are nice, but our favorite Monet has polka dots on her muzzle and a perfect pair of perky ears! Meet the newest addition to the FBRN family, Monet!
Monet suffered a prolapsed rectum shortly after her birth, and the subsequent surgery was not successful. As a result, she has severe fecal incontinence. She is scheduled for a visit with a veterinary specialist and we are hopeful that a future surgery will alleviate her condition. Please keep your fingers (and paws) crossed for some good news on that front!
In the meantime, Monet is scampering about and chewing on anything in reach, just as you’d expect from a three month old puppy. Keeping her diaper on is a challenge, but foster mom is up for the job! When she’s not making mischief, Monet enjoys sunbathing and falling asleep in the nearest lap. We get warm fuzzies just thinking about those soft little puppy snores!
Monet’s veterinary care is going to cost a pretty penny, so any donation, big or small, will be a huge help. Just click on the “Donate” button and tell us it’s for Monet! And keep those good thoughts rolling in for our sweet little girl. All of us at FBRN are grateful for your support!
