Please give a warm FBRN welcome to our newest little blueberry, Rue! Sweet, sassy, and oh-so-cute, this pint-sized princess is melting hearts (and possibly computer screens!) as she steals the show in her foster home.
Rue was surrendered along with her brother, Aegon, after their previous owner couldn’t get their GI issues under control. Turns out that Rue has giardia, which definitely explains why she couldn’t hold in her poopsies. Now that she’s on medication and her tummy is feeling better, Rue is showing her true personality, which is all puppy, all the time! She loves playtime, and naptime, and cuddle-time…but most of all, MEALTIME. When foster mom opens the cupboard door, Rue tries to shove her way in and climb into the bag of kibble. So while she might be a teeny bit underweight right now, we don’t expect that will last!
Once Rue is giardia-free, we’ll be scheduling her spay surgery. Then it’ll be off to the Available Page! In the meantime, if you’d like to make a contribution to her veterinary care (or her food bill, yikes), just click on the “Donate” link and tell us it’s for Rue! She will be sure to send you the sweetest of puppy kisses in thanks.
