Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Solo-Ti-Do! Okay so perhaps that’s not exactly how the song goes, but our newest foster Solo, is singing a happy tune now that he is in the care of FBRN. This little guy was found wandering a Georgia neighborhood, and despite efforts to locate his family, no one came forward to claim him. Once in our care, he was taken to the emergency vet due to an immediate concern with one of his eyes. We learned that he was born with a congenital birth defect called hypospadias, and he’s also battling a urinary tract infection. Solo will need surgery to remove his eye and be neutered, and the path forward for his birth defect is still being evaluated.

Despite all he’s been through, Solo’s spirit is incredible. This two-year-old Frenchie is one of the sweetest, most gentle souls his foster mom has ever met. He adores being around people, including the little ones who he loves to follow around. It seems that snuggling on laps has quickly become one of his favorite pastimes, along with chewing on a good bone and snuggling up on his favorite blanket.
