About Squid
Sadly, Squid lost the only family he’d ever known when his former owner passed away. He then moved in with a family member who had larger dogs, but unfortunately that situation did not work out so well. Squid was lovingly surrendered to FBRN where we’re happy to help find the perfect forever home for this handsome boy.
Healthwise, six-year-old Squid seems to be in good shape. Maybe some allergies as he is a bit itchy, but after his initial vet visit, we will have more to report on his health. Foster mom will learn much more about Squid as he settles in and realizes that he is safe and loved. For now, he is sleeping well through the night and beginning to get used to the new routine in his foster home.
While Squid’s foster mom is still assessing his personality, she’s already noted that he is very food motivated and knows sit, wait, paw and down. What a smart boy! He growls when holding a toy, so toys will be put away while foster mom makes extra slow introductions to the resident dogs. We’ll have so much more to report on how Squid interacts with others when he makes his available page debut!
In the meantime, if you would like to sponsor Squid, please click on the link above. Squid lost a loving home and needs our support to regain his sense of security.
