Meet Truman, our adorable new foster pup with an equally adorable little tail! He arrived at foster home after spending a month at a shelter in Florida. Truman was found as a stray, and the shelter, in all its wisdom, gave him the fitting nickname “Meatball.” This playful moniker suits him perfectly, as Truman is a 9-month-old, 35-pound ball of energy and love. His infectious puppy enthusiasm makes him a joy to be around, and we’re thrilled to help him on his journey to becoming the well-mannered, happy dog we know he can be.

Although Truman is still a bit wild, he’s already showing some great progress. He knows basic commands, is crate-trained, and fully housebroken. He’s incredibly sweet and loves spending time with people, whether it’s for a game of fetch or just lounging on the couch. His favorite activity, by far, is chewing on toys—he’s got a strong jaw and enjoys gnawing on anything that catches his eye.

Truman does have a cherry eye, a condition that will be addressed in the near future with the proper care. Otherwise, he appears to be in good health and is ready for his next adventure in life. We’re excited to help him work on his manners, socialize with other pets, and introduce him to the joys of family life.
