We’ve found a sweet little treat in our Halloween candy collection! Please welcome Twix to FBRN! This brindle boy was tearfully surrendered because his family did not have enough time for him.
Like all puppies, Twix is a big ball of energy! He is very active and enjoys playing outside and taking walks. His foster mom reports that he is one smart cookie and learned his way around the home quickly. Twix has been dubbed a “couch mountain goat” and leaps around before finding that perfect spot. This cutie loves to cuddle! Twix enjoys bringing a toy and lying in his foster family’s lap to chew until he falls asleep. Twix does well in his crate and enjoys sleeping there.
Twix is housebroken and does well going out for bathroom breaks on a leash. He hasn’t been off-leash yet in the backyard due to his mountain goat-like tendencies to jump and sprint! Twix has typical puppy issues, such as ignoring personal space and being nippy. Thankfully, Twix is very food motivated, which is great for training! This sweet boy will sit for treats and enjoys doing activity puzzles as an outlet for his energy. Twix is slowly being introduced to the resident dogs, and there haven’t been any issues. According to foster mom, Twix seems healthy but might have mild allergies. We’ll know more about his health after his vet visit.
Twix came into rescue with an empty Halloween bag. Any donations to his care would be such a treat for this cute boy! You can sponsor Twix by clicking the link above his bio.
