About Row
Due to a lymphoma diagnosis, Row will continue to be loved and cherished for the rest of his days with his devoted foster family.
Row was originally surrendered to a local rescue by a family who just had a baby. When Row’s medical needs exceeded their financial capabilities, they knew who to call. Row hasn’t had the easiest life, but he won the foster lottery at FBRN and has seamlessly melded with the resident Frenchie pack.
When Row first arrived, he was in rough shape, a 2/9 on the Purina body scale, hardly able to keep food down, unable to breathe, with severe skin and ear infections. With FBRN in his corner, he soon had BOAS surgery, which immensely improved his quality of life. He still was struggling to kick the skin infections, and to gain weight, however. His foster mom felt a lump under his neck and after testing it was confirmed that he had lymphoma.
While it’s not a diagnosis anyone wants to receive, his foster mom is making sure he continues to live his best life. He went to see Christmas lights, had a professional photo shoot done, and continues to have many other fun outings. He’s spending his days finding his favorite sunbeam, chewing on a yak bone (his utterly favorite thing in the whole wide world), playing tug with his girlfriend – his foster sister, snuggling and generally being his happy, sweet, big footed self.
Many of our Frenchies require ongoing medical care and our hospice dogs are no exception. If you’d like to donate, just click on the button to become Row’s sponsor. He’ll thank you with that beautiful smile and her sweet puppy-dog eyes.
